Joseph Gauta, MD, FACOG
is a board certified ob/gyn and fellow of the American College of Gynecologists. He is founder of Especially for Women Ob/Gyn group practice and The Florida Bladder Institute which specializes in treating women with urinary incontinence, bladder dysfunction and pelvic floor disorders. His clinical expertise and achievements in medicine have been recognized nationally, regionally and locally. He is Recipient of the Lewis Post Award for Surgical Excellence and the Vitals.com Patients Choice Award. He serves as member of the teaching faculty of Boston Scientific Pelvic Floor Institute and Olympus American, a leading manufacturer of surgical medical devices. He has been featured in Naples Daily News as first surgeon to perform LESS no scar gynecological surgery in our region and recognized in Gulfshore Life Magazine's Who's Who in Medicine. He is a Member Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons and Past President, Collier County Medical Society.
Amanda Schultz, MPH, PA-C
Amanda joined the Especially for Women team as a women's health care practitioner having graduated with a Master of Public Health Degree and a Bachelor of Science Degree in Physician Assistant Studies with Honors from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale. Her experience includes fetal non-stress testing, colposcopy, and minor office procedures including urogynecological testing. She is available for annual well-women and physical/school exams, contraceptive and menopausal issues, initial obstetric exams, and problem visits. Amanda's schedule is open to all new patients.

Kimberly Witcher, Office Manager
Kim Witcher has worked with Dr. Gauta and his clinical team for over a decade providing expert administrative support and leadership for both the Florida Bladder Institute and Especially for Women practices.
With more than 30 years of experience in the medical field, she brings a wealth of knowledge and skill to the practice and its' patients. She has worked in a variety of health care settings throughout Southwest Florida including hospitals, outpatient facilities and several specialty group practices from neurology to orthopedics.
This vast array of supervisory experience along with certification and ongoing training in the complexities of medical billing makes Kim an integral part of the Florida Bladder Institute's healthcare team.
